EXPORT AND SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUE RESOLUTION

No matter what challenge you’re facing, our China market advisory and consulting services can support you to resolve them.

While there are many different issues that can be experienced, some of the more common ones we see our clients face include:

COMPLYING WITH CHINA FOOD HEALTH & SAFETY REGULATIONS

Premium, fresh imported foods can be subject to ‘traceability gaps’, where supply chain data is not maintained across providers.

This can cause various risks, including adverse transport conditions, counterfeiting, tampering, product safety, lack of compliance and loss of accountability.

RESOLVING EXPORT LOGISTICS ISSUES

If you face problems with order handling, inventory management, stock visibility, distribution, packaging, or storage handling, PGS can help you in resolving these. Our team of experts is always ready to assist you.

FAQ‘S

Do I need an import license to sell my products in China?

Every food producer seeking to export foods to China must now be registered with China Customs (GACC).

For certain ‘high risk’ foods this registration must be submitted on your behalf by the relevant government body. For the other approved food categories, the producer or its nominated agent must submit an application online via the GACC website.

Peloris provides this service to food producers.

Can I get through Customs without the help of any company?

Food can only be imported by a Chinese registered import company and Customs Broker.

In recognizing this can often be a major weak point in the in the food export supply chain (e.g. compliance, lead times, visibility), Peloris has established a China subsidiary company to manage this on behalf of our clients.

I’ve got an urgent problem – what do I do?
