How does Peloris customise packaging for product safety?
Peloris designs fit for purpose packaging for your export products based on temperature requirements, mode of transport and supply chain lead times. To date we have exported over 7 million litres of pre-packaged fresh milk to China with 100% temperature control, which is tracked and reported in real time.
What happens if my fresh goods get damaged?
Peloris takes full responsibility of your product from gate to shelf. If any product is compromised or damaged whilst within our care or the care of our logistics partners, we will immediately rectify the situation at our expense.
How long are China customs processing times on average?
China customs processing and clearance varies from port to port, across food categories and whether the shipment is selected for testing.
Since Peloris manages shipment imports for our clients, we can immediately respond to any potential import delays, e.g. if there is incorrect or missing documentation. In addition we keep our clients informed of every stage of the customs clearance process.
How do payment terms work?
Peloris manages China customer payments through our China import subsidiary and pass on shipment payments to producers in AUD or NZD through our export company. As a result, ANZ food producers are insulated against foreign exchange movements.
